Being the new kid at school is usually a little bit tough. Everyone knows this; its common knowledge. For someone like me, however, it can be twice as difficult, given that my learning disability and social anxiety issues (which could be seen as one in the same) consistently try to discourage me from ever taking part in events and meeting new people unless absolutely necessary. Having said that, I am perfectly well aware that it is all in my head. That is what I think, in a sense, makes it even worse, because I have only myself to battle with--my own brain.
